Recent Projects
Railcar Logistics Automation: Our most recent project automates the bulk release of railcars (empties, loaded, and DG empties going back to origin) within Canada and US for a publicly traded Midstream company. Previously, an admin would spend 4 hours a day releasing railcars that involved several different Excel files on network folders, PDF downloads and archiving, back and forth emails, unstructured reports, correcting data entry errors, gathering information from several sources, and other tedious tasks. With the web app we built, they can now release all railcars with the click of a button, access automated reports that can be emailed in structured format within the app, assign information to railcars by automatically pulling from several sources, and track progress while eliminating errors. A 4 hour task reduced to 15 minutes a day.
License & Equipment Tracking: A client spent a week looking through licenses to pull from former employees. The app we created for them did it in a few seconds with the click of a button. It also features automatic reports, like how much each employee spends on licenses per month. Utilizing APIs from major companies like Microsoft and Adobe, they can run the report once a month and the app would highlight former employees with assigned licenses. Even after their manual audit, the app was able to find a dozen of licenses still applied.
Closing Autotask Tickets: An IT company used Autotask Ticketing System with over 60,000 outstanding tickets. An employee would have had to bulk close 100 at a time, taking over week to complete. The app we built automatically closed 60,000 tickets in 28 hours.
Sorting and Archiving BOL: An Oil & Gas client would receive several PDFs a day containing BOL information, extract that information to put into an Excel log, rename the PDF and then archive in a network folder. Our automation involved a custom trained ML model (so the data stayed private) that recognizes select data within the PDFs and does all of the processing automatically, 24-7, and saving 30 minutes of tedious work per day while eliminating data entry errors.
